I soaked my berries in salt water and saw these white wiggling things come out. Should I just throw them away?

Immediate Refrigeration:** Put your berries in the fridge as soon as you buy or pick them; the cold stops the eggs from hatching and prevents the larvae from growing.

Salt Water Soak:** Continue using the salt water soak (about 1 tablespoon of salt per 2 cups of water) for 10–15 minutes if you want to ensure they are removed before eating.

In short: if the berries look fresh, just wash them well and enjoy them—there is no need to worry!
